Built from the Ground Up for Real Estate
The real estate industry is one of the world's largest and most complex markets — and one of the most underserved by technology. We saw developers, builders, and operators working with disconnected spreadsheets, slow manual processes, and tools that weren't designed for their workflows.
Our founder was at Housing.com from his second year at IIT Bombay — one of the first companies to bring technology to Indian real estate. After graduating, he co-founded PropertyPistol.com, one of the country's largest real estate channel partner networks, working with builders like Godrej, Brigade, Birla, Lodha, and TATA. At its peak: 15,000+ sub-brokers onboarded across India, ₹8,000 crore in property sales in FY 2023-24.
Operating at that scale made the problems impossible to ignore. Most tech solutions were either inventing problems that didn't need solving, or forcing generic software onto an industry where trust, transparency, and precision are non-negotiable. In real estate, ticket sizes are enormous, lead costs are high, and every closure hinges on how well a salesperson is trained and how well they show up.
KGen was built from that frustration — and from the conviction that AI agents, done right, can accompany every salesperson at every step of their journey. Not replace them. Elevate them.
